Oksana Pilipchuk

 

Pilipchuk Oksana Dmitrievna – artist, painter, teacher. She was born on March 30, 1977 in Kazatyn, Vinnitsa region, Ukraine. In 2000  she graduated with honours  from Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute (now Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts). Her teachers were: People’s artist of Ukraine, Prof. V. Sizikov; Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Prof. E. Zherdzitsky; Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Prof. V. Chaus. Her graduate work – triptych «Legend», was  awarded a Certificate of Honour of the Council of Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute. Since 2000, she is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. 2000–2003 – graduate student and intern-assistant at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiyv (teachers: People’s artist of Ukraine, Academician V. Sidorenko, People’s artist of Ukraine, Prof. M. Guyda). In 2003 she obtained Master’s Degree in Painting. Her final work «Cognition» was awarded with a Certificate of Honour by the Council of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.

Since 2004, she has been working at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. She is an Associate Professor of the Department of Drawing and Painting; she teaches such courses as Drawing, Painting, Design workshop, Coloristic in the interior. Oksana Pilipchuk is an author of numerous scientific publications, methodical recommendations and guidance for the students of higher educational institutions of architectural and art direction. She is also a research advisor of bachelor’s and master’s theses.

Since 1998, she has been an active participant of city, regional, All-Ukrainian, foreign, international exhibitions, creative symposiums and plain-airs: totaled up 150, including 30 solo exhibitions. Throughout 2000–2019 the artist created a gallery of portraits of prominent people, Doctors Honoris Causa and Professors Emeritus of Ukraine and other foreign countries. Her creative works are performed in the technique of painting, graphics, monumental and decorative art (painting, stained-glass, decorative panel). The author developed the coloristic, design and decor solutions in the interior for different purposes and in historical architectural monuments in Ukraine. The creative works were mentioned in media, special publications and periodicals.
